For all the communities we work in and support, the past year was physically and emotionally challenging. We feel fortunate that 2021 was overall good to Harmonic. We expanded our community of designers and clients, brought service design education to new organizations and classrooms, and still had time for some shenanigans with our pets.
Throughout, we did our best to take care of one another and those around us as people. Most of our work was done virtually, but when the team could safely meet in person we made the most of it (and maybe got some tacos).
Harmonic Design believes in building a strong community by staying engaged locally and increasing exposure to the field of service design. If you are involved with education, innovation, or community organizing and would like to partner with Harmonic, we would love to hear from you.
Here’s to a Happy and Healthy 2022!
We’re optimistic that 2022 will be a better year for many, and we’re excited to continue to do our small part to help organizations sustainably engage the beautiful, diverse tapestry of people they serve.
If you are interested in partnering as a client or designer to learn or do service design, strategy, or innovation work, let us know. We’d love to meet you.
I often get asked questions about the relationship between service design (SD) research and user experience (UX) research. The answer is very simple, but communicating that simplicity is not easy. This post will attempt the briefest, clearest answer possible.
